Dubai International Food Safety Conference
The Dubai International Food Safety Conference and Exhibition is organized by the Food Safety Department of Dubai Municipality. As one of the world's largest food safety events, this annual gathering features scientific sessions, symposia, workshops, poster presentations, and special programs tailored for food regulators, industry professionals, researchers, and students.
In 2024, over 3,500 delegates from across the globe attended the conference, representing a diverse range of stakeholders, including the food industry, universities and research organizations, laboratories, training providers, certification bodies, technology service providers, and regulatory agencies. This event provided a unique platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and the development of innovative solutions to ensure the future of safe and sustainable food systems.

years, the Dubai International Food Safety Conference has achieved exceptional success, solidifying its position as a leading global platform for exchanging experiences, knowledge, and innovations— all essential for advancing food safety and reducing the burden of foodborne illnesses.
The 2024 conference theme, "Future Foresight in Food Safety," emphasized the importance of proactively identifying and mitigating food safety challenges and threats. The program featured symposia, workshops, and an exhibition, all focused on exploring the key drivers shaping the future of food safety.
The conference was organized in collaboration the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), International Association for Food Protection (IAFP), National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), International Federation of Environmental Health (IFEH), International Commission on Microbiological Specifications for Foods (ICMSF), International Union for Food Science and Technology (IUFoST), Global Food Regulatory Society (GFoRSS) and International Association for Supply Chain Safety (ENFIT).
